During hypnotherapy, the therapist helps the client enter into a more relaxed state, just like 'day dreaming', so they feel comfortable with releasing and sharing experiences with the therapist, allowing them to be more receptive to positive suggestion, aiding relaxation and change for the better.
Day dreaming, is a type of hypnotic state and most of us enter this state quite easily at various times of the day.
With hypnotherapy, the therapist helps the client to enter this trance like state of deep relaxation, where we can enter the subconscious and help to unlock and heal past experiences.
Sometimes these past experiences or things we may not be conscious of now, have led us to experiences we have / feel now, such as fears or phobias.

If you are ready to make a change, then hypnotherapy can help with:

Anxiety, weight Loss, fears, phobias, stress, smoking cessation, changing habits and regression.

Free 30 mins telephone consultation, to understand your needs, before booking your first session.

"I had a series of hypnotherapy treatments with Sonia to help me with weight loss. With Sonia's help we identified that I had become fixated on the desire to eat chips in particular, and other foods high in fat and sugar.  I went to my first session with an open mind but wasn't sure what to expect.  However, Sonia put me at my ease very quickly and explained how hypnotherapy worked.  It took a couple of sessions in my case to start to change my mindset but after each session I did notice changes in how I was thinking about food and It certainly worked for me as I no longer crave chips or other unhealthy foods.  I can only say it worked for me and I wouldn't hesitate to go back for further sessions."
